This summer marks 12 years for Liquid Currency. I founded the band in the summer of 1999 with the help of some guys that Glen Ballew (Red Room Recording Studios), introduced me to. We’ve watched God do some amazing things over this past decade and we have counted ourselves privileged to be a part of it. Our 1st full length album was finally released in 2010 and our sophomore album will be out later in 2011. We’ve seen the coming and going of several great band members over the years but this year there will be a change in leadership.

It is with excitement and sorrow that I must announce my departure from Liquid Currency. This band, this ministry and all who have made it possible over the years is in my blood. It’s become a very real part of who I am. So as you can imagine making this decision was not an easy one.

My family and I have felt God’s leading to move to Seattle Washington for some time and this year He has made that calling, that dream a reality. I will be joining with Liquid Currency a couple more times, once for Worship in Longmont on May 1st and again later this year when the new album, "Drawn", releases.

I am thrilled to announce that my close friend Glen Ballew will be stepping in as the front man for Liquid Currency. He has been around since the very beginning. As I mentioned earlier he got me connected with the original members of Liquid Currency and we’ve been recording in his studio for many years. I truly believe that what he has to bring to Liquid Currency will further the heart and mission of the band and also bring some new ideas and a fresh vision.

The ministry of Liquid Currency is not over, Lord willing it is just beginning.

To all who have supported us over the years, THANK YOU!
